These things I have loved in life:
Things I tasted,
looked at,
smelled,
heard,
touched.

Throughout the past 18 years of my life, I have been exposed to a number of different people and things. I am a huge fan of food, and some of the most amazing foods I have ever tasted were made by my Italian mother, Giuliana Consoli. Everyday, she would whip up the most intricate, oily, heavenly foods you can imagine. She is a truly gifted woman.

There are many things I have seen that mean something to me. Living in DC, I was able to gaze upon a number of beautiful buildings, my favorite being the capitol. It's simply breathtaking and I miss it so much. Another thing I've witnessed is Ray Allen, a basketball player for the Boston Celtics. His shot is incredible! He has such a perfect stroke and makes shooting those long-range three pointers effortless. I am always (and I mean always) impressed by his game. He is without a doubt my favorite player in the history of NBA basketball.

The best sound I've ever heard is David Archuleta's voice. I'm obsessed! His voice is so pure and is so breath-taking. I honestly have every single song he's ever made on my iPod. Words can not express how much I love his voice and music.

Something else I have heard was Barack Obama's speech at his Address to the Nation on February 24, 2009. Just hearing the power in his voice and his ability to captivate people was incredible. It's so surreal when you watch the president on TV and then suddenly, he's right in front of your eyes. That was an experience I will never, ever forget.

I had the privilege to touch the Vice President, Joe Biden. He was so nice and gladly signed autographs for us Pages, as well as posed for pictures. I will never forget that moment when I was standing in the Speaker's Lobby with my fellow Pages, and asked him to sign my paper from Gordon Brown's (Prime Minister of England) speech. He smiled with his pearly whites, signed my paper, and shook my hand. I was so elated and felt so special.
